Role overview
We are seeking a motivated Transport Coordinator to join our growing operations team.
The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate day-to-day transport activities across our domestic and international networks, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and cost-effective service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organise transport schedules, allocate vehicles and drivers, and monitor deliveries via road, sea, and air.
• Oversee domestic and international removals and freight forwarding services.
• Liaise with clients, warehouse staff, customs agents, and carriers to ensure timely and efficient operations.
• Ensure goods are packed, loaded, and delivered to the highest standards of safety and care.
• Maintain accurate transport and compliance records, including driver hours, vehicle usage, and delivery performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements:
• Proven experience in transport coordination, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good understanding of transport compliance and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• IT-literate and confident using logistics management software.
